This table built itself. From the glue up to choosing the ellipse shape and laminated legs, the wood seemed to tell me the best way to form it. An incredible degree of chatoyance in this piece of Maple.

There was so much beauty in this Maple that I believe I could see my lawn getting greener as I watched.
The client brought in the live edge pine he wanted me to incorporate into this cradle or his new daughter.
After drying for an appropriate time, I built the frame of a very dark piece of redwood and placed the pine live edge at the headboard and footer. The cradle rocks on a pair of roller bearings buried in the end plates.
This set of new mahogany galley cabinets was installed in a working boat on Seattle's Lake Union. I spent three years building boat interiors for the same company. Crab boats are particularly luxurious.
This custom laminated clear fir balustrade was built for an architect whose home I had just remodeled, adding a second story.
One of my first projects as a general contractor. I was 24 years old.
The substantial understructure for the stairway.
This small deck and integrated bench was built for the eventual mayor of Redmond, WA. She wanted the deck to flow organically with the contour of the yard and landscaping.

Before and after pics of a farmhouse porch refurbish for some good friends in Duvall, WA.
The Absoraka - This end grain cutting board is constructed with the following hardwoods: Patagonian Curupay, Maple, and Canary Wood.
More octagon work from a large custom home with octagons everywhere.
I installed a huge custom octagon themed stair system here in an immense foyer reminiscent of the state capitol rotunda. No kidding. Too big for photos to capture the sense of it.
A series of photographs of two identical pergolas built for the Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter in Gallatin County.
This trebuchet, modeled after the One at Castle Corfe in Dorset, UK, was a surprise birthday gift for our 35 year old "boy". We managed a toss of 242' with a four pound acorn squash!
